The Refit - Interior
The interior finishing began in mid-February with a new subfloor
At the same time, new window frames were being built
Insulation and vapor barrier were installed
In early March the window frames were dropped into place, the ceiling was hung and bulkhead panelling was begun
Cupboards were built beneath the side deck
Bulkheads were framed-in for the heads/washroom
Wiring was pulled and central heating radiators were mounted
The salon settee was framed-in
In early April plumbing was installed
Plumbing was installed, including a wall-mounted domestic flush toilet
Construction of the galley cabinets was begun
The second week of April the oven, fridge and dishwasher were installed
The bed was completed on top of the amidships water tank
The fourth week of April the shower and heads floor basins were poured
The solid iroco floor was laid
The washer and dryer were installed
In late May the Marlan® counter tops were poured
The cooktop was set in place. It has a great layout with a big wok burner
By late May, the interior was nearing completion
